Our Mission
The Central Iowa PHP Users Group aims to unite local developers and provide an community founded on opportunity, education and advocacy.
About Us
The Central Iowa PHP Users Group (CIAPUG) is a community of local developers who support Open Source technologies with a focus on PHP. We aim to promote both Open Source development and PHP in our industry both locally and internationally.
As a group, we aim to be a resource for professionals to share ideas and experiences.
Our group meets monthly in Des Moines, Iowa to dicuss these technologies, share project experiences, and to learn from others. Our meetings are informal, educational, free and are open to all skill levels.
We encourage you to explore the site, join our mailing list, and learn a little more about us. Because of our ties to the Open Source community we also encourage you to participate in other local user groups such as the CIALUG, the AAFUGIT, and the CIACUG to name a few. These groups meet regularly and welcome new faces.
The group is lead by dedicated volunteers who work to ensure we remain focused on our mission through planning and organizing of educational and valuable meeting and events.
